A curated glimpse inside my world — design, style, and life.

Hello, it’s been a minute!
Spring has officially arrived here in New Jersey, and we’ve loved watching everything come back to life. The trees blooming, flowers popping up, the shift from bare branches to that bright fresh green almost overnight. I didn’t realize how much I missed the changing of seasons while we were in Texas. It’s not even about any one season in particular, it’s the transition. The constant evolution. Every day something new is appearing in the yard that we had completely forgotten about.
After a long, cold winter spent mostly hibernating, I’ve been soaking up every bit of sun I can get. You’ll find me on the patio most evenings for the foreseeable future, usually with a glass of wine in hand while the kids run around the yard a little longer than they probably should before bed. Open windows, longer evenings, flowers clipped from the yard, dinner outside whenever possible, it all feels incredibly grounding after winter.
While our personal life slowed down over the colder months, CLD has done the opposite. We’ve hit the ground running this year with four incredible projects and two new team members, and I’ve been so overwhelmed (in the best way) by the welcome CLD has received here in New Jersey. It feels like a fresh start in all the right ways, and I’m so excited for what this season holds.

The studio has been especially full lately in the best way. We currently have four projects in progress, all with very different scopes, styles, and locations, which has made the work feel incredibly dynamic. We recently completed a full apartment furnishings project overlooking Manhattan, and honestly, the views alone were enough to inspire the entire space. Our Chatham renovation is nearing completion, and I’m especially excited to begin layering in the furnishings and styling details that really bring a home to life.
We also just returned from High Point Market, which always leaves me feeling inspired and excited for new projects. There’s something energizing about seeing where the industry is moving while also being reminded how much I’m drawn to interiors that feel timeless, layered, and personal rather than trend-driven.
I’m also thrilled to share that Maria has officially joined CLD as our Design Assistant. Alongside Ashlen, our Procurement Manager, CLD is now a team of three. It’s been exciting to feel the studio evolving in a way that allows us to better support our clients, maintaining the level of detail and care that defines our work.

I’m incredibly excited to finally share that our Pearl Project was recently featured as a full-home feature in Homes & Gardens!!
This project will always feel especially meaningful to me because it was not only the largest and most creatively expansive project we’ve taken on to date, but also our very first full-home tour feature. So much heart, time, collaboration, and detail went into every layer of this home, making the recognition feel incredibly monumental for both myself and the studio.
Throughout the home, we leaned heavily into pattern, texture, vintage pieces, custom details, and thoughtful contrast to create spaces that felt both elevated and deeply livable. Every room was designed to have its own personality while still feeling cohesive with the home as a whole, which is something I’m always striving for in our work.
Seeing the project featured in such a beautiful way feels incredibly special, not only because of the recognition itself, but because this home so clearly reflects the layered, deeply detailed, and highly intentional kind of work I want CLD to be known for.
Lately, I’ve been trying to lean into a more “touch grass” mentality. Less scrolling, less optimizing every second of the day, less feeling like every hobby or moment needs to become content or productivity. More pottery classes, painting, evenings outside, fresh flowers on the counter, cooking slowly, wandering the farmers' market, and all the little things that make us feel human. Spring has a way of reminding me that life doesn’t always need to move at full speed.
A few things I’ve been loving lately: A local pottery class that’ was one of my favorite ways to unplug recently. My new farmers market bag now that Sunday mornings are officially back in rotation. A new cookbook which I’ve been slowly flipping through and bookmarking far too many summer menus from already. I love that it’s organized around gatherings and seasons rather than just recipes.

Lately I’ve been orbiting around the idea of an English garden in the slightly unruly, layered, romantic sense. The kind that feels collected over time rather than perfectly manicured.
Right now, that mostly looks like filling oversized vintage-style urns with climbing greenery and convincing myself I need more gingham tablecloths for outdoor dinners. But eventually, I’m dreaming about weathered stone paths, antique Victorian gates tucked into the landscaping, pedestal busts hidden between trees, gravel underfoot, overflowing roses, and candlelit alfresco dinners that somehow stretch on for hours.
There’s something about gardens that feels very connected to how I think about interiors too. The best spaces evolve slowly, collect stories over time, and feel layered with personality and life.
